THE STORY OF OUR HOME
Our family's journey begins back in the 1920s when our great grandparents migrated from our village, Moti Kardrod in India in the state of Gujarat to Kenya; wIth them they bought along their rich culture and food. In Kenya, our grandparents shared recipes from Kenyan and Punjabi cuisine, which was infused to create a fusion of dishes of our original cooking and giving our food that unique taste. These recipes have been passed down from our grandmother to my mother and to us generation this passion of cooking was fortunately passed to us and the next generation As a family we are passionate about cooking and creating flavour some food using fresh ingredients the only problem was our mothers never used measurements all our recipes our made through smell and taste and loads of love. and it is this care that we want to take from our home kitchen onto the streets of London. As well as sharing these recipes with our own children we wish to share this journey of smells and flavour with our neighbours!

THE freshest ingredients
a journey of food that has travelled from india via kenya to london and created to serve our friendly neighbours. our lamb and chicken is all organic and free range, delivered to us from a small farm in east sussex, food fore thought. The freshness of all the ingredients is the key to the taste of our food. 
a six hour slow roasted lamb, masala chicken, chicken and vegetable curries. all served as a freshly rolled naan wrap or rice box with salad, raaita, onion and a squeeze of lemon juice.

MARINATED WITH OUR HOUSE SPECIAL GARAM MASALA, GARLIC, TURMERIC AND CHILLIES AND THEN SLOW ROASTED FOR SIX HOURS TO CREATE THE MOST TENDER JUICIEST LEG OF LAMB.
GRILLED MASALA CHICKEN
MARINATED WITH OUR HOUSE SPECIAL GARAM MASALA, GARLIC, TURMERIC AND CHILLIES OVERNIGHT, AND COOKED RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU CREATING ALL THE SMELLS AND THE SIZZLE FACTOR THAT YOU NEED FOR AN INDIAN STREET CUISINE
HOME MADE CHICKEN CURRY
HOME MADE VEGETABLE CURRY
FOR A THICK CURRY SAUCE THE TOMATOES, ONIONS, GARLIC AND HOUSE SPECIAL GARAM MASALA IS SIMMERED FOR FOUR HOURS. GIVING THAT FLAVOURSOME TASTE we like to give those vegetarian neighbours a variety of dishes each week, varying from pigeon peas with aubergine to dhal; in an original thick curry sauce.

the speciality to our kitchen is the home made naan , which is rolled and cooked right in front of YOU.
